SOLO ADS – What Are They?

Lately I have been getting a lot of people asking me about SOLO ADS.  And if you are any type of online marketer or you are just getting into the game, solo ads are definitely something that you want to learn about.

In the mix of different ways to generate leads both paid versions and free versions, solo ads in my opinion are probably one of the fastest ways to generate leads in real time.

In fact, when you run a solo ad, your phone will start beeping with new emails a few times a minute to let you know you have a new lead. THAT…is way cool.

What the heck is a SOLO AD anyway?

A Solo Ad is basically an email blast that is sent out to someone’s list of subscribers. People that offer solo ads typically have massive lists and they can steer a certain number of guaranteed clicks to your opt-in page instantly. When your page reaches that number of clicks, the traffic gets driven to another person and so on. This means that targeted buyers in your niche market will be exposed to your lead capture page in a concentrated focused period of time.

Solo ads are one of the fastest ways to build your list.  Besides Facebook PPC and Google PPC, solo ads give you the best bang for your buck and instant targeted leads to  market to.  Remember though that it typically takes multiple exposures to convert those people into sales, so don’t think that every time you run a solo ad that it will produce instant sales.  What you are doing though is building a list of targeted prospects and people to market to.

What Do Solo Ads Cost?  And Can You Afford Them?

Solo ads range in price from $55 to about $350 and will provide you with GUARANTEED CLICKS.  Unlike running print ads where you have no idea how many people will call you, solo ads are 100% guaranteed and it’s one of the reasons I like them.

If I run a solo ad for $150 I know that I can expect 40 to 50 quality leads added to my list that I can in turn market too.  If I sell even one person a $25 blog and upgrade them to the inner circle for $100, that ad becomes profitable in month 2, when that person is re-billed on an auto-ship payment.

One Very Important Thing To Know About Solo Ads

One thing to always remember when running a solo ad is that if you treat your business like a real business it will pay you like a business.  If you treat your business like a hobby it will pay you like a hobby.  If you start off with a small budget with solo ads and work up bigger and bigger and bigger over time, you can build a highly profitable business.

Don’t just do one single solo ad and then wait for a sale and then if it doesn’t come immediately, say that Solo Ads don’t work.  Budget a minimum of $250 to start your campaign.  I typically recommend that if you have $500 or even $1000 to start you will be much happier with the results in month 1.

If you don’t have a budget that large, you need to get involved with high paying affiliate programs that pay out large commissions so you can build up a budget.  Most  affiliate programs pay out 10% to 50% commissions on their products. For a few weeks, the people in the Empower Network were completely dumb-founded as their main source of traffic to their posts from Facebook was completely shut down.  So they turned to a trusty Facebook application that was the next best way to share content. But within three weeks or so, Facebook cracked down on the use of the App and for a moment there was no way to share content.

I was on Facebook and came across a post from Alecia Stringer.  She is a great marketer and I noticed that she had just posted a blog that had a shortened link.  I clicked it and BOOOOM it went to an Empower blog. What the heck?  How did she do it?

Turns out that Alecia found a cloaking device that makes the Empower blog go completely stealth.  The website is here. 

In order to use it simply

1. Place your URL from Empower in the box.

2. Click the cloak button

3. Produce a shortened URL

4. Post the shortened URL

Not sure how long the cloaking device will work, but it is an option for now. Muahahahahahaha.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any easier to make boat loads of cash on Facebook, the almighty one laid down their IRON FIST.  BOOOOOOOM!  And it’s now official!  In fact, it seems that as of – August 6, 2012 – Facebook is banning or blocking any and all links going to Empower Network blogs. And I can tell you one thing from my own personal experience,  THAT FLIPPIN SUCKS!  This blog post will address how this isn’t half as bad as Google Panda and Penguin and what you need to do to FIGHT BACK!

No real surprise, Facebook laid down their iron fist yesterday and BOOOOOOM they have officially blocked all links going to Empower Network blogs and will not even allow them on Facebook chat.  Which for a Facebook chatter like me? THAT FLIPPIN SUCKS.  Facebook is also stopping redirects and link shrinkers like bit.ly and Google’s link shrinking service as well as the Pretty Link plug-in on Word Press.

Why did Facebook block Empower? 

If you think about it, the answer to that question is really simple.  There are over 40,000 people posting from the same root domain

with Empower Network and from Facebook’s eyes it make it looks like its SPAM.   And since SPAM is not allowed on Facebook, BOOOOOOM, the iron fist came down to block the URL  completely.

HOW DO YOU FIGHT BACK
as an Empower Network Member?

If you are like me, and Facebook is one of your favorite methods of marketing and generating leads, then there are a few things that you can do to FIGHT BACK?  These are things that I do personally, so I am not telling you to do something that I don’t already do myself.

1.  You really need to buy your own personal name in a dotcom.  If it’s not available, www.whoisyourname.com or www.yournameonline.com or www.workwithyourname.com are good options.  If you are like me and you have an online handle  or nickname like I have (MLM Superhero), you can combine the branding of both.

2.  Start a word press blog under your own personal name.  The P.S. sections and many of the hyperlinks can link over to your Empower blog. Thankfully, I’ve had a blog at www.DarrenLittle.com for a few years now, so its not that big of a deal for me.

3.  If you are not a technical person, I highly recommend outsourcing some of the technical aspects so that all you have to do is BLOG.  And just so you know, even your blogging quite frankly can be outsourced.  It’s really not necessary to do the blogging, although it is quite fun once you get a knack for it.  And once you give your blog a little personality, people will enjoy reading what you have to say. But don’t let it hold you back if you feel you are not a writer and think you can’t write about something daily.  Simply outsource it.

CREATE A PROTECTION WALL BETWEEN
FACEBOOK AND YOUR EMPOWER VIDEO

For a guy like me that loves Facebook chat, I need a direct link to my video so that when I am talking with people, if they are interested, I can send them directly to the video page or the sign-up link.

Prior to Facebook laying down the hammer, I used the Pretty Link plug-in to have my links coming from my own personal domain. Pretty Link is a plug-in that I highly recommend as it makes all of your affiliate programs easy to drive traffic to without having to buy numerous domains.

These were put together with OUTSOURCING.  If you have not started using outsourcing, it is totally the way to go.

What are some other marketing strategies to use now?

A few come to mind.

1. Definitely you want to keep using Facebook as a marketing tool.  Don’t let a little thing like a Facebook ban throw a curve ball in your ability to generate 100% commissions.  When Google Panda and Google Penguin hit all of us, it dramatically affected Google ranking and destroyed many company’s traffic.  What was the answer?    Re-calibrate.

As you know with anything, it’s all about MARKETING.  Do what I did and use a landing page , just link out to capture pages and articles on your own blogs and sites.

2. Start using PAID advertising like solo-ads, press-releases, Facebook PPC and start buying into co-op marketing opportunities.

3. Start using VIDEO.  Video builds a relationship with your prospect and gives you credibility and authority.   You can build raport with people while you are sleeping with Video.  We cover these strategies and more in our Ten Ten Formula Training available to all of our INNER CIRCLE members

Drop Cards To Make Money. Drop Cards look just like dollar bills, when they are folded, and with the right technique, you can reach out to thousands of business through your Drop Cards. With Drop Cards, you get to advertise your business or product to a lot of people by putting the right information on the back of your Drop Cards.

Easy and Fun. To use Drop Cards to promote your MLM business is both fun and easy. The $100 bill is by far the most effective type of Drop Cards. Who wouldn’t pick up a dropped $100 bill? This is where your MLM business information comes in! You might think this is a silly tactic, but believe me, it works. WorldVentures – The Company – Who are they?

WorldVentures is a travel company that was opened for business in the late 2005. Certified with the standard industry organizations, WorldVentures LLC have had a steady run since the company was first launched. With a strong corporate team, the company has several travel-related products in the market. WorldVentures is a currently based in Plano, Texas and working with the company are active representatives and members in fifty states in the States as well as internationally.

WorldVentures – The Management Team

WorldVentures is a network marketing based travel industry that was founded by Wayne Nugent along with Mike Azcue, who both acts as Chief Operating Officer. Acting as the Chief Operating Officer as well are Dan Stammen and Jon McKillip. Eddie Head is the Chief Strategy Officer while Marc Accetta is the Director of Training. Fritz Wolchik holds the post of Director of Corporate Sales and Kyle Lowe is the VP of International.  WorldVentures become even more credible in the travel industry by adding to their corporate staff, America West Co-Founder Michael Conway. The company also has, by their side, ex US Senator Mike Rose as their legal counsel.

WorldVentures – The Products

WorldVentures has developed two products so far, in the form of traveling facilities. The first is WorldVentures Dream Trips, which is available for $199.95 up front and $24.99 monthly.   WorldVentures Dream Trips is more of a monthly membership that allows its member to have discounted vacations. The second product is the WorldVentures LTC (Leisure Travel Consultant), which is available for the same price as WorldVentures Dream Trips. This one is more of an online travel “business in a box” sort of thing, something that will lead members to a higher level in their WorldVentures membership.

WorldVentures – The Business Opportunity

WorldVentures features an upfront one-time membership payment of about $250 and consequently, monthly payments of $39.95. Members can have their own online websites on WorldVentures that will feature special travel deals for consumers using the WorldVentures software, which specializes in searching for travel deals on the web. Aside from getting something from consumers, members are given a chance to travel monthly at a discounted price. To get started a new member must sign up six people beneath them in their network.

The WorldVentures Compensation Plan

WorldVentures uses a binary compensation plan that allows members to earn a $50 direct commission with every sale. There are also team building bonuses of $100 that are earned by members for every 6 sales with 3 on each side. WorldVentures awards its members TravelDollars with every 6th cycle. For every 6 sales, a residual income of $20 can be earned immediately after members get to the “Director” rank.

Is It A Journey Worth Traveling For?

In closing, WorldVentures is a credible company that offers a solid business opportunity to anyone who drinks water. However, even though this is the case, the company, the products and the compensation plan will not guarantee that you will have success with WorldVentures.  In fact, unless you learn how to become a professional marketer and generate a steady stream of quality leads to speak with about WorldVentures, you will end up being another casualty of the industry. Pitching your friends and family will only take you so far. With this strategy alone, most people last between 6 to 8 weeks.

On the other hand, prospecting complete strangers typically generates minimal results and can create some very awkward and embarrassing situations to say the least.  This is why it’s extremely important to your success that you learn how to brand yourself as a leader in the industry and that you learn proper marketing techniques that will enable you to generate a steady flow of qualified leads.

Without a steady stream of qualified leads to talk to about the WorldVentures business opportunity, your chances of succeeding are slim to none.  Once you learn how to use attraction marketing strategies, not only will you have a steady stream of leads, but many days your phone will ring with INCOMING CALLS from people that are seeking you out as a leader that can help them gain success.  With a steady stream of leads, quite honestly, there’s no telling how successful you can be with your WorldVentures business.

Evolv – The Company – Who are they?

Evolv, introduced in 2009, is a multi-level marketing company that deals in consumer health products. Founded by Trey White, Evolv Health has launched several science-driven products that are marketed through a network of independent business owners in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Peru. Evolv Water, its flagship product, is an enhanced beverage that was initially in development for more than 15 years. As a company, Evolv Health hopes to reach 8.4 million people throughout the world; a mission that the company hopes to achieve in the next ten years.

Evolv – The Management Team

With a strong business background Evolv started out in the multi-level marketing industry by Trey White, its Co-Founder and current Chairman. Acting as the Chief Executive Officer of Evolv Health is Brent Hicks, who also happens to be the company’s Co-Founder. Currently holding the position of President of Evolv Health is Josh Higginbotham while the Chief Science Officer is Dr. Anne Smith. James Christiansen is the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Information Officer is Justin White.

Evolv – The Products

Among the range of science-driven products that Evolv Health has launched are Evolv Water & Gel, Evolv Shake, Evolv Ultimate, Evolv Energy, and Evolv Thin. 15 years of scientific research and development went behind creating these products, according to Evolv Health. The Archaea Active formula is integrated in all of its products. Along with these products, Evolv Health has created several plans that will help its consumers lead a healthier and better life.

Evolv – The Business Opportunity

Evolv Health is backed by high powered businessmen and is supported in the MLM industry by several billionaires. With a support system like this, Evolv Health is in the MLM industry to win. Evolv Health is revolved around its products that feature the key ingredient, Archaea Active, which was developed after years of research by Health2o. Those who enroll in Evolv Health will be able to enjoy its products as well as the payment benefits provided by the company. Cost of enrollment for new members is about $39. The company offers a number of ways to get paid. A 58% is full-on guaranteed payout on commissionable volume weekly. In addition to that, Evolv gives out prizes to those who achieve the Diamond and Ambassador ranks.

Members of Evolv Health maximize their commissions by selling Evolv products to people. New members up get the product at a wholesale price. OFFLINE Signage is placed in places where there’s a wide audience – places like active intersections and highway off ramps. Since everyone is trying out online marketing, why not go for offline marketing for a change? Offline marketing has been working for years in the MLM business, even before the internet was invented.

The Perfect Start to get incoming calls would be to use a creative and attractive offline signage – something that will blow people’s minds. Florescent or bright colored signs can be eye catching to get people’s attention. But let’s not forget, it needs to have an eye-catching tagline. Offline signage is one of the best opportunities to get incoming calls as it is the right method to generate the right buzz.

The More Places Your OFFLINE Signage is, the more incoming calls you will get. This type of promotion is price efficient and easy to duplicate. It might be only a simple sign, yet it reaches the widest audience possible! I’m sure many of you have trouble when it comes to networking with people! But since this is Network Marketing Industry, you HAVE to make the effort to network with people. Let me assure you that it’s just better to use any outgoing opportunity that comes along – meeting new people is always the first step to take to generate 20 leads in a day.

Mingling Easily with people does not come easy to some MLM members. To make networking work, the easiest way is to go out there, meet people and get as many business cards as you can. Some of the favorite key-point places to meet new people are MLM training events and live events. Just imagine the number of people that you will come across at these events.

Not too far, why not start by attending events in your area. What you do there is to learn about many people and at one shot, secure as many contacts as you can – it’s like killing two birds with one stone.  Don’t know what to do with the business cards you have collected? Go ahead and create an MLM event and invite the names on these business cards – Right there is how you double your MLM contacts. Why not hire a celebrity to make it awesome? It’s like using honey to attract bees!

A Popular way of getting to meet new people is trying your hand at Offline Posts better known as POST-IT NOTES. Don’t know what that is? It’s just another form of random advertising – mostly free of cost. Be excited and just post or paste notes every possible place – where it’s legal, of course! Bottom line is the more excited you are, the more energy you have. It’s that simple, really.

Thinking of places to put an attractive ad? Try places that are heavily populated like ATMs, campus, shopping malls and gas station. Go further by pasting a sticker on your car; who knows how many leads this simple and effortless method can bring! These methods have been going around for years with successful end results, so why not give it a try to generate more leads? Why not grab this opportunity to secure leads from a large number of people!

Use Drop Cards.  Drop cards typically look like money folded in half.  $50 or $100 bills typically work best.  On one side they look like money.  On the other side they have your message.  Keep your message simple.  Don’t make the income claims too big otherwise no one will believe them.  Be creative.
